Metro Boomin, the influential music producer who sparked the fiery rap feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, finds himself under scrutiny as disturbing tweets from his past resurface, adding another layer of complexity to an already intense battle.

The tweets in question, predominantly originating from the period between 2009 and 2014, depict Metro Boomin making unsettling remarks, some of which allude to underage relationships, mirroring accusations that have plagued Drake. Despite some deletions, screenshots of these tweets have circulated widely on social media platforms like Instagram, thrusting them into the spotlight once again.

In one tweet from June 2012, Metro Boomin cavalierly compares himself to a “pedophile,” while another from 2014 suggests readiness for young girls, a sentiment that has drawn sharp criticism for its apparent insensitivity towards grooming. Additionally, a series of tweets targeting Rihanna, including one that downplays her history of domestic abuse, further tarnish the producer’s image.

What complicates matters further is Metro Boomin’s professional ties to Rihanna, having collaborated with her on the track “Faded.” Moreover, his enlistment of ASAP Rocky, the father of Rihanna’s children, to diss Drake on his album adds another layer of entanglement to the ongoing feud. These tweets not only cast a shadow on Metro Boomin’s reputation but also threaten to disrupt alliances within the music industry.

While Metro Boomin has a history of deleting controversial tweets, the magnitude of these revelations suggests that damage control may prove challenging this time. Despite attempts to scrub his online presence of any pro-Drake sentiment in the past, the resurfacing of these tweets presents a more formidable obstacle that cannot be easily dismissed.
