Looking for something new, exciting, and totally unforgettable to do with the family? On April 30, 2025, Bloomington is getting a one-of-a-kind event that everyone will be talking about — Indoor Ice Cross is coming to Grossinger Motors Arena!
What’s Ice Cross? It’s like a mix of racing, skating, and pure adrenaline — athletes speed down an icy track, take on big turns and jumps, and race head-to-head in front of a roaring crowd. And now, it’s coming indoors for a night full of lights, action, and fun for all ages.
This event is part of the World Ice Cross League, created by Tim Cimmer, a former hockey player who wanted to make the sport more accessible for everyone — kids, teens, and adults. Now, families from all over get to watch or even join in the action.
There will be three age groups for racers:
- 13 & Under
- 14–17 Years Old
- 18 & Over
Whether you’re cheering from the stands or signing up to race, it’s the kind of night that brings everyone together — with music, high energy, and some of the fastest athletes on ice.
Brad Jay, the voice of big-time sports events like the Olympic Games and X Games, will be on the mic to keep the crowd engaged, and Dylan Moriarity from the Turbo Twins is racing too — a skater who’s performed around the world, now back to compete in Bloomington!
Tickets: $35 for adults, $25 for kids and seniors
Athlete Entry: $30 (17 & under), $50 (18+)
Bring the kids, bring your neighbors — Bloomington is about to see ice like never before.
